The Firefighters Home Ring SiteRing

Here are the steps you need to take to qualify to join the ring.

1. Copy the HTML code for the SiteRing Panel below.

2. Paste the Panel Code onto your webpage.

3. Save the images provided under the HTML code
   and upload them to your site
   (there are 6 images to save).
   If you change the names of the images, be sure to change the HTML code.
   
   Please Note: Do not link the images directly to this site.
   You MUST save them to your computer and then upload them to your site server.
   Please make sure the page you list is the page where the sitering goes.
   Tripod does not supply enough bandwidth to support direct links.
   The code is set up to pull the images from your server. Thanks..
   

4. Edit the Panel Code in several areas
   (there are seven areas where the code has to be changed):

   • Where you see [YOUR ID] - Remove the Brackets & replace it with your SiteID
     (it was emailed to you when you first signed up)
     

   • Where you see [YOUR EMAIL] - Remove the Brackets & type in your email address

   • Where you see [YOUR NAME] - Remove the Brackets & type in your name

   • Make sure the link to the images are correct to pull the images from your site.

5. Save the changes to your site.

6. You will not see your site in the ring until you have been approved.
   You will be notified by email once you are approved.

7. If you have troubles, email the Ringmaster & Don Arner, Asst. Ringmasteror Kat Moore Asst. Ringmaster. 

8. Please note: ** This is for Geocities Sites ONLY **  If you have site thru Geocities.com please contact the Ringmaster, you will be directed where to pick up your site code. **This is for Geocities Sites ONLY**

NOTE: WHEN PUTTING YOUR INFORMATION IN THE CODE DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE THESE BRACKETS [ ] .

You must place the SiteRing Code on your site before approval is made.

No Other Graphics will be used for this Ring, Except for

the Graphics listed below. Unless You made prior 

arrangements with the Ringmaster & Asst. Ringmaster,2nd Asst Ringmaster. 

NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please email the Ringmaster & the Asst. Ringmaster when you have placed the ring on your site.
If the html code is not in place on the site within 10 days of the application,

it will be dropped from the queue.

FF HomeRing EGroups Email Information:

Once Your Site is admitted into the FF HomeRing, Your Email address will be placed in the Yahoo EGroups FF HomeRing Email. The Email system is required to maintain your site within the ring. EGroups is used for General Email for all members of the FF HomeRing,  for Site Announcements, Membership News, Etc. You must contact the Ringmaster, if you wish to use a different email address for Ring Email.
